What is an AI agent and what is it for?
An AI agent is an autonomous system based on a large language model (LLM) capable of making decisions, executing actions on your systems (sending emails, querying databases, calling APIs) and completing complex tasks without human intervention at each step. Unlike a chatbot, which answers questions, an agent acts: for example, processing incoming orders, preparing daily reports or handling support incidents end-to-end. -
How is a chatbot different from an AI agent?
A traditional chatbot follows predefined flows and answers questions. A modern LLM chatbot (GPT-4, Claude) understands natural language and can use your information (RAG). An AI agent goes a step further: it has tools (function calling) to perform actions — search a database, modify a CRM, send emails, run code — and plans multiple steps to complete a task. If you only need to answer questions, a chatbot is enough; if you want to automate work, you need an agent. -
What is RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)?
RAG combines an LLM with your own knowledge base (documents, manuals, products, contracts) so the model gives answers based on your data, not only on what it learned during training. How it works: when a question arrives, the most relevant fragments of your documents are first retrieved (vector search over embeddings), then passed to the LLM as context to write the answer. Result: accurate, citable, up-to-date answers using your data instead of generic or hallucinated responses. -
How much does it cost to deploy a smart chatbot or an AI agent?
It depends on the scope, but a RAG chatbot over corporate documentation starts from €1,500–€3,000 (implementation + web integration). An AI agent with several tools and integrations with your systems (CRM, ERP, email) usually goes from €4,000–€12,000 depending on complexity. Add the LLM usage cost (OpenAI or Anthropic), between €20–€200/month in typical scenarios. We do a free initial consultation to scope your case. -
Which LLMs do you use? Are they secure with my data?
We work with OpenAI (GPT-4, GPT-4o), Anthropic (Claude Sonnet/Opus), Google Gemini and open-source models (Llama, Mistral) when self-hosting is required. For sensitive data we use enterprise APIs with zero data retention clauses (providers don't store or train on your prompts). For critical cases we deploy open-source models on your own infrastructure so data never leaves your network. -
Can you automate processes without touching my current systems?
Yes, in most cases. We connect via standard APIs (REST, webhooks, MCP) with your CRM, ERP, email, WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, Slack, etc. If a system has no API, we can automate at UI level with browser-use / Playwright. Integration is non-intrusive: nothing is modified in your applications, we simply read and write data. -
How long does it take to get an AI agent or chatbot in production?
For a working MVP: 2–3 weeks. A RAG chatbot over your docs can be online in a week. An AI agent with several tools and integrations usually requires 3–6 weeks, including iterations with your team to refine behaviour and edge cases. The critical phase isn't the code — it's defining clearly what tasks it should do, what tone and what rules to follow. -
What is MCP (Model Context Protocol) and why does it matter?
MCP is an open protocol created by Anthropic in 2024 so AI models can connect in a standard way to tools and data sources. Think of it as USB for AI: a single connector that lets Claude (and other models) access your database, your emails, your CRM, your files, etc., without coding custom integrations every time. We implement MCP servers when your systems need to be available both for your own AI agents and for external assistants (Claude Desktop, IDEs, etc.).
